Mountain Meadows Meats is a small-scale meat distributor dedicated to providing high-quality, locally sourced beef. With sustainable farming, ethical practices, and a focus on transparency, we raise small herds on natural diets and partner with local butchers to deliver fresh, quality, and premium meat.
In 2008, we committed to raising higher-quality Angus beef. By 2022, we achieved the desirable grass-fed flavor we had been striving for. We take pride in limiting grain consumption in our cattle, ensuring a more natural diet. During the final 45 days, a small amount of finisher grain mixture is introduced to enhance quality while maintaining our high standards.
Our hormone-free beef means no shortcuts. We take pride in allowing our herd to grow naturally on Appalachian mountain grass. Our well-cared-for herd remains stress-free, resulting in better quality meat. We believe these practices create the most tender and flavorful beef.
Our beef is processed locally in Morgan County, Kentucky, ensuring fresher, high-quality meat. Through a careful 14-day hanging process, we allow the beef to dry, enhancing its tenderness and flavor. A USDA inspector is present at every stage of processing, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality for our customers
